GEELONG has welcomed back experienced forward Danni Higgins and named three debutants among seven team changes ahead of Sunday’s must-win VFLW clash with the Western Bulldogs.
The Cats are on a three-game losing streak that has seen them drop outside the top six, with last week’s 78-point loss to Essendon the biggest in the club’s five-year history.
As well as Higgins, fellow forward Sachi De Giacomi and star netballer Mel Bragg are back, while Lujeyn Al-Huneidi has been recalled for her second game.
AFL Barwon club St Mary’s has provided the trio of first-gamers. Lauren Gibbs, Brittany McLaughlin, and Indya Kirby will make their maiden appearance in the Hoops.
