An infected finger will see James Worpel miss Geelong’s first GMHBA Stadium clash of the new season.
The Cats have confirmed the 27-year-old, who was due to play his 150th AFL match, will be sidelined for the match-up with Fremantle on Saturday.
Worpel, who joined Geelong from Hawthorn in the off-season, is expected to be right for the meeting with Adelaide on March 26.
