Tom Hawkins has set himself the target of returning in four weeks from a foot injury that has sidelined him for a month.

That puts the Geelong great on a timeline for a return in the Round 23 clash with St Kilda at Marvel Stadium.

“I think I’m about four weeks away, but I’m just slow and steady a bit at the moment,” Hawkins told K rock Football ahead of the Cats’ loss to the Western Bulldogs.

“I’m having some wins – some good progression with my recovery. So, I’m hoping (for) four weeks.

“But, time will tell as I continue to press forward and hopefully get into some running.

“It’s sort of a little bit unknown, but I’ve earmarked the four-week mark until I’ll be back.”
