BRANDAN Parfitt will remain with Geelong until at least the end of 2020 after signing a one-year contract extension.
The 20-year-old small forward/midfielder, who joined the Cats with pick No.26 in the 2016 National Draft, has played 34 games and 21 games since making his debut in the opening round of 2017.
“Brandan has a team-oriented focus and brings a lot of energy and excitement to the playing group,” football boss Simon Lloyd said.
“A creative and an exciting playmaker, he consistently demonstrates a strong work ethic and a desire to take his football to an elite level.
“Over his two years at the club, Brandan has been heavily invested in our football program and where we are going as a group and we look forward to seeing that continue.”
Geelong still has up to 15 players out-of-contract at the end of 2019.
