Prolific midfielder Georgie Prespakis has won Geelong’s AFLW best-and-fairest for the second time in three seasons.

Prespakis, 22, capped an impressive season in polling 185 votes to win by 75 from 2024 winner Nina Morrison on 110.

Half-forward Mikayla Bowen, who, along with Prespakis and key forward Aishling Moloney, was named in this year’s All-Australian squad, finished third on 76 votes.

Defender Becky Webster and forward Jackie Parry rounded out the top five on 54 and 51 votes, respectively.

Prespakis, who averaged a career-high 25.8 disposals and 6.8 clearances per game, joins three-time winner Amy McDonald as the only players to claim multiple Geelong best-and-fairest awards.

In other awards presented at GMHBA Stadium on Saturday night, Kate Darby was again named the club’s Carter Family Community Champion.

It’s the fifth time the retiring big has received the honour.

Retiring captain Meg McDonald was presented with the values-based Hoops Award.
