Reprimand for veteran Cat

GEELONG ruck Aasta O’Connor can avoid a fine with an early guilty plea after being cited by the AFL Match Review Officer for an incident in Sunday’s loss to North Melbourne.

O’Connor is charged with rough conduct following a dangerous tackle on Roo Ashleigh Riddell during the second quarter.

The incident was assessed as careless conduct, low impact and high contact, drawing a $400 fine as a first offence.

An early guilty plea will see O’Connor reprimanded.
