GEELONG will be boosted by the return of ruck duo Olivia Fuller and Lucy Martin for Saturday’s trip to Whitten Oval for a clash with the Western Bulldogs.
Fuller was unavailable for last week’s loss to Port Melbourne, while Martin was a late withdrawal, leaving Maddy Boyd to shoulder much of the ruck load against the Borough.
The inclusion of Fuller and Martin will allow Boyd to return to more familiar surroundings in the Cats’ forward line.
Geelong has also named debutant Laura Negri.
From AFL Barwon club St Mary’s, she was part of the Saints 2019 premiership team.
The Cats will field close to a VFLW-only team, with Boyd and Stephanie Williams the only AFLW listed players named in the twenty-three.
Georgia Clarke is an emergency for both the VFLW and AFLW teams.
