GEELONG is facing some headaches at selection ahead of its Easter Monday match-up with Hawthorn at the MCG.
Captain Joel Selwood and reigning best-and-fairest both return after missing last week’s win over the Brisbane Lions.
Esava Ratugolea (ankle), a late withdrawal from the team that defeated the Lions, and Shaun Higgins, who was sidelined with a delayed concussion, have been named on an extended bench.
Zach Guthrie, who as the medi-sub replaced the injured Quinton Narkle at three-quarter time last week, is on the extended bench, but was to set line up in Geelong’s VFL clash with Southport on Thursday night.
The Cats have until Saturday afternoon to finalise their 22, with the medi-sub to be announced when teams are lodged an our before the bounce.
