Second-year Geelong big man Phoenix Foster will spend the remainder of the pre-Christmas pre-season training block on a modified training program.

The Cats have confirmed to K rock Football that the 19-year-old South Australian suffered a minor fracture in his right foot after a collision in the first week of training.

The 197cm forward averaged ten disposals and three marks per game and kicked eight goals, including two on three occasions as he found his feet at GMHBA Stadium.
