Mental Health Minister Ingrid Stitt said they were looking to provide a relaxed environment for those coming in.
“It feels like a home-based environment,” Ms Stitt said.
“It’s all about making sure that people can recover and really get that therapeutic wraparound support.”
The new facility includes 10 private rooms, shared kitchen and dining facilities and gardens.
