Police searching for boat skipper

Police have called for assistance in finding a boat washed up on the Bellarine Peninsula.

Police say a small three person dingy was located yesterday around 7am between Queenscliff and Point Lonsdale.

They’ve called for the owner to call the water police.

“The vessel was first observed by the complainant at 7am and police were notified at 12pm,” a post on Geelong Eyewatch said.

“If you are the owner, or knows who is, contact the Water Police on (03) 9399 7500.”
