North Geelong big man Blake Miller is free to play in Saturday’s must-win meeting with Bell Post Hill after accepting a reprimand for an incident in last week’s loss to Belmont Lions.

Miller, the Magpies’ leading goalkicker with 17 majors, was cited by the AFL Barwon Match Review Panel for rough conduct on Lions big man Jed Evans late in the third quarter of the clash at Winter Reserve.

Footage shows Miller giving away a free kick at a centre square ball-up before charging at Evans.

The incident was assessed as careless conduct, low impact, and high contact, drawing a one-week suspension that was reduced to a reprimand with the early guilty plea.

Inverleigh youngster Jarvis Miles, Corio recruit Brad Horsham, and Thomson star Darcy Troop also accepted reprimands for weekend incidents.

Miles, Horsham and Troop were cited for rough conduct on Anakie’s Luke Dahlhaus, Geelong West’s Billy Higgins, and Werribee Centrals’ Paddy Daley, respectively.

A match day report laid against Miles’ Hawks teammate Casey Meehan in his 150th game for striking Roo Joel Jahn was withdrawn.

The MRP was asked to examine a melee from the Werribee Centrals-Thomson clash at Galvin Park; however, no vision was available.

In the Bellarine, the MRP found insufficient evidence to charge Portarlington’s Steve Heppel with striking Torquay’s Michael Croxford during the second quarter of the clash at Ron Evans Oval.

They also examined a melee between the two clubs in the third quarter, during which Croxford and teammate Oscar Lewis were both scrutinised but cleared.
