Rob Maibaum won’t be the only former Leopold player pulling on a Bannockburn jumper in 2024.

Maibaum, unveiled as a Tigers recruit on Sunday, will be joined at Victoria Park by Fletcher Wilson and Bailey Kelly.

They’ve signed with Bannockburn along with former St Albans big man Preston Pedron.

Wilson, who played five games with the Geelong Falcons while a St Joseph’s junior, made 16 senior appearances before being dropped following Leopold’s elimination final win over Newtown & Chilwell.

He kicked four goals in the Polders’ reserves overtime grand final loss to St Mary’s to claim the best-on-ground medal.

Wilson made 31 appearances and kicked 28 goals at senior level.

A Leopold junior, Kelly played one senior game this year to go with three in 2022.

He kicked 25 goals in 16 games at reserve grade level, including five majors in the nailbiting preliminary final win over Grovedale.

Pedron, a talented junior basketballer from northeast Victoria, played 12 games at senior level for the Supersaints in 2022.

However, his lone senior appearance in 2023 came in Round 5 before a shoulder injury ended his season.

The signings of Wilson, Kelly and Pedron follow those of Maibaum and Bellarine League Team of the Year member Lachie Kidd from Queenscliff.

Meanwhile, at the Belmont Lions, Jordan Edwards returns after a season at Warrnambool and District League club Russells Creek.

And Adam Leamer is back at Winter Reserve for the first time since 2016 after returning to Geelong West and a brief tenure at Newcomb.
