Gryan Miers has been named, but vice-captain Tom Stewart will again be missing as Geelong named its squad for Sunday’s meeting with the GWS Giants at GMHBA Stadium.
The Cats will make at least two changes, with veteran ruck Rhys Stanley (hamstring) and emerging defender Lawson Humphries (concussion) coming out of the team that claimed a thrilling Round 8 win over Collingwood.
Veteran defender Jed Bews has been included on an extended interchange bench along with rugged midfielder Ted Clohesy, and an uncapped duo, George Stevens and Jay Polkinghorne.
Miers has missed two matches after being concussed by a swinging arm from Hawthorn’s Conor Nash on Easter Monday.
Stewart is battling a knee injury that saw him miss the victory over the Pies.
The Giants, who have won their last four outings at GMHBA Stadium, will make at least one change.
Young forward Darcy Jones (knee) will be missing from the team that lost to Sydney last week.
Jake Riccardi, Harry Rowston, Ryan Angwin and Cody Angove have been included on the bench.
Teams will be finalised late tomorrow afternoon.
