GEELONG has seen enough from young defender Jordan Clark since he arrived at GMHBA Stadium in late November to extend his stay at the club by a further two years.
Clark, who was drafted with pick No.15 in the 2018 National Draft from WAFL club Claremont, has signed a contract extension that will keep him in the Hoops until the end of 2022.
“Jordan has embraced the Geelong Football Club over his short time here and we are pleased to have secured Jordan’s services for a further two years,” Cats football boss Simon Lloyd said.
“From the outset, Jordan has demonstrated a thirst to learn and a strong appetite for hard work.
“He is a highly creative player who constantly challenges himself to improve, and most importantly he loves what he does.”
After impressing in both JLT Series matches against West Coast and Essendon, Clark made his debut in Round 1 against Collingwood.
In his three AFL matches, the 18-year-old is averaging just under 15 disposals and has kicked two goals.
