Comic book and toy fans are expected to head to Geelong West this weekend.
The Geelong Comic and Toy Fair is on again this Sunday, allowing local and independent artists and sellers to showcase their talents.
Organiser Evin Bryant said he was keen to launch a grassroots even in Geelong.
“There are little retail options out here for comics & collectables but I believe a real appetite for people here to immerse themselves comic / toy related collectables and identify themselves in a like-minded community that customers may not be aware exists,” he said.
There will also be a chance for kids to create their own comic character and comic pages at the event.
The event is being held at the Geelong West Town Hall on Sunday between 10 and 4.
Entry is free, but locals are being encouraged to provide a gold coin donation.
