Geelong police have helped in the arrest of two men, following the discovery of an alleged drug lab in Colac.
Detectives charged the pair, after search warrants were executed on Wednesday morning at three homes and a business in Colac.
Police say they seized a significant packed up clandestine laboratory from the address including glassware, equipment and precursor chemicals, 25kg of sodium sulphate and a small quantity of schedule four poison amongst other chemicals.
A 49-year-old man, who police say is a former patched member of the Hells Angels bikie gang, was arrested later that morning.
He has been interviewed and slapped with a number of drug trafficking and possession charges.
He was held in custody overnight to face the Geelong Magistrates’ Court.
The second man, a 55-year-old also from Colac, was charged with two counts of possess drug of dependence (methylamphetamine and cannabis).
He was bailed to appear at Colac Magistrates’ Court on 26 June.
