A busy road in Grovedale will be closed over the summer holidays for major works.
The roundabout on the corner of Bailey Street and Marshalltown Road will be upgraded to include better street lights and wombat crossings for pedestrian safety.
The City of Greater Geelong says there will be a focus on improved accessibility and reinforcing approaching speeds to the intersection.

The area will be closed from January 3 to 25, 2024.
It is being funded under the federal government’s Blackspot Safety Program.
