Jordan Keras will become the first coach to lead Anglesea on 100 occasions in the opening round of next season after re-signing with the club for a further two years.
The veteran midfielder will remain at Ellimatta Reserve until at least the end of 2028.
After winning a drought-breaking premiership in 2025, the Roos struggled for momentum this year and missed out on a fourth consecutive finals berth.
“It’s been a great journey over the last five years, and we’re really excited to extend that for the next two years as the coach of the Anglesea Football and Netball Club,” Keras said on social media.
“It’s such a great place to be a part of; it was a no-brainer for me.
“Obviously, a little bit disappointing this year in not making the finals. However, after playing in the last two grand finals, we plan on getting back there in 2027.
“We’ve got a great young group coming through that are really motivated, and we plan on recruiting really hard moving into next year.”
Keras’ commitment leaves Barwon Heads and preliminary final-bound Geelong Amateur as the only Bellarine clubs yet to confirm their coaching structure for 2027.
