GDFNL club Geelong West have started the search for a new coach for 2027, officially opening expressions of interest for the role.
The Giants parted company with Scott Frangos last month, with former mentor Andrew Clark returning in an interim capacity.
They currently sit at the bottom of the ladder with a 0-9 record.
“If you’re the right person to lead and develop a young, talented group in the Geelong football region, we want to hear from you,” the club said in a social media post.
“A proud and ambitious club, we are committed to a football program built on player development, strong community ties and on-field success.
“With a talented young list and genuine club support behind you, the opportunity to make a lasting impact is real.”
The Giants say they are looking for a leader who has played or coached at a high level, has held a head coach or a senior assistant role before, and is “driven by player development and the challenge of building a winning culture”.
They are also looking for someone with strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively, with playing coaches encouraged to apply.
Expressions of interest can be made via gdflgiants@outlook.com and close on Friday, July 10.
