A collision that left Werribee Centrals veteran Matt Miller requiring facial surgery has seen Bell Post Hill midfielder Boe Collins referred straight to the AFL Barwon Tribunal.

Collins, who lost a Whitley Medal in 2021 after being suspended for a dangerous tackle, has been cited by the Match Review Panel for careless conduct over the first-quarter incident at Myers Reserve.

He will appear before the tribunal tomorrow (Wednesday) night.

Meanwhile, Inverleigh’s Fin O’Keefe has accepted the four-week suspension for a sling tackle that left Bannockburn’s Leigham Elzinga concussed on Anzac Day at Inverleigh Reserve.

However, O’Keefe was cleared of any wrongdoing for a tackle laid on Tigers young gun Ryan Perkins.

Leopold captain Marcus Thompson has accepted a reprimand with an early guilty plea for rough conduct on Colac’s Luke Cardinal.

That incident late in the second quarter sparked a melee at Memorial Park that has cost both clubs $675.

Thompson was taken to hospital for precautionary scans for any internal injuries but was cleared of any serious damage.

South Barwon’s Dylan Starkie can also accept a reprimand with an early guilty plea for striking St Joseph’s young gun Hunter Lewis during the final term of the Anzac Day loss at Drew Oval.

It’s the same situation for Geelong West’s Daniel Pollard and Anglesea’s Courtney Wedderburn.

Pollard was cited for rough conduct on Michael Crossett during the final term of the GDFNL Giants’ loss to Anakie at West Oval.

Wedderburn was scrutinised for striking Torquay’s Oscar Lewis in the second quarter of the BFNL clash at Ellimatta Reserve.

North Shore co-captain Jacob Miljevic was cleared of any wrongdoing for bumping Bell Park’s Fraser Marris at Hi Sushi Oval, with the MRP deeming a downfield free kick sufficient.
