Emerging football administrator Bree Beckley will step down from her Geelong Falcons Talent Lead role to take a role with the Cats.

Beckley has been appointed as Football Operations Manager at GMHBA Stadium just 12 months after taking over the Falcons’ program as the replacement for Tom Lonergan.

She is no stranger to the Cats, having played 54 games in the Hoops at VFLW level, captaining the team in 2022.

“I have thoroughly enjoyed working with and alongside the Geelong Falcons Family,” Beckley said in an email to players and staff seen by K rock Football.

“The staff play a major part in shaping the program and have made my job leading the program alongside Paul (Corrigan) and Mel (Hickey) an extremely enjoyable experience and one I will forever cherish.

“Working with the players weekly is extremely rewarding and amazing to see the young adults they become throughout their time in the program.”

The AFL Talent team will now work to find Beckley’s replacement at Highton Reserve.
