Bell Park big man Ollie Bridgewater hasn’t ruled out playing some part in the club’s 2025 campaign as he continues his recovery from a broken leg.
The Warrnambool product underwent surgery after suffering the injury during a practice match with reigning VFL premier Werribee in late February.
“I’m moving pretty well now,” Bridgewater told krockfootball.live ahead of the Dragons’ Round 3 loss to St Joseph’s on Saturday.
It’s been about 11 weeks already, and (I’m) hoping to be running in about four weeks’ time.
I’m still hoping to get a few games in towards the end of the year.
“A few people tell me different things, but we’ll see how we go.
“It’s a real touch and go from here.”
