Max Holmes is back, but Sam De Koning has been dropped, among three changes to the Geelong team for Friday night’s elimination final against Carlton at the MCG.
Holmes, the reigning two-time best-and-fairest, hasn’t played since undergoing surgery on a lower leg injury suffered against St Kilda on July 16.
The Cats have also included veteran Mark Blicavs, who was managed out of the win over Richmond in Round 24, and livewire forward Oli Wiltshire.
Jhye Clark and former Blue Jack Martin join De Koning in being squeezed out. All three are emergencies.
Carlton has replaced injured defender Nick Haynes with first-year player Wade Derksen.
