Geelong will take the cautious approach with Patrick Dangerfield, leaving him out of the team for tomorrow night’s crucial clash with Collingwood at the MCG.
The veteran skipper has a hip issue that the Cats have decided not to risk, listing him as managed for the return meeting with the Pies.
He’s been replaced by Jack Martin, who, after being managed for the win over St Kilda in Round 19, kicked four goals in Geelong’s VFL win over the Casey Demons last week.
Defender/ruck Sam De Koning, a late withdrawal from the win over Melbourne, is an emergency along with Jack Bowes and Mitch Knevitt.
Collingwood has replaced injured defender Brayden Maynard with creative forward Lachie Schultz.
