Geelong has chosen not to recall Sam De Koning to help combat the tall timber inside Fremantle’s forward 50 after naming an unchanged team for Friday night’s semi-final at Optus Stadium.
The key defender is an emergency along with Jack Martin and Jhye Clark, with all three likely to play in Sunday’s VFL preliminary final if none are a late inclusion to take on the Dockers.
Fremantle has recalled Judd McVee and Corey Wagner as the replacements for Brandon Walker (ankle) and Nathan O’Driscoll.
The winner will face Sydney in next Friday’s preliminary final at the SCG.
Geelong won the Round 1 meeting at GMHBA Stadium by 10 points, with the Dockers winning the match-up at Optus Stadium by nine points in Round 15.
