Geelong could have up to 40 members of its 45-member list in action this weekend, as its injury list continues to shrink.
Jhye Clark remains in the concussion protocol, but he would be eligible to play in the VFL on Saturday if cleared to play.
If he does play, the Cats, who sit atop the VFL ladder, could have up to 17 AFL-listed players in action.
Young forward Jay Polkinghorne and rookie Keighton Matofai-Forbes are closing in on returns from their respective foot issues.
That leaves Tyson Stengle, whose absence has been well documented, luckless big man Toby Conway, and draftee Harley Barker as those without a timeframe for a return to action.
