Primetime Cats

Geelong will feature in four primetime fixtures between rounds 17 and 22 following the AFL’s latest fixture release.

The Cats will host Thursday night battles at GMHBA Stadium against Brisbane on July 2 and St Kilda on July 16.

The return meeting with Collingwood is also a Thursday night, July 31, at the MCG, while Geelong will be at the home of football the previous week, on July 24, for a clash with Melbourne.

Geelong has one interstate trip during that period, facing the GWS Giants at Engie Stadium on Saturday, July 11, in a twilight battle.

The Cats’ final match of the block is a Saturday twilight outing against Essendon at GMHBA Stadium.

Rounds 23 and 24 – against North Melbourne at Marvel Stadium and Richmond at GMHBA Stadium – will be fixtured at a later date.
