GEELONG veteran Scott Selwood will make his first appearance of the pre-season in Friday night’s VFL practice match against Werribee at Avalon Airport Oval.

The 28-year-old has been sidelined in recent weeks with a hamstring issue after what had been one the former Eagle’s least interrupted summers since arriving at the Cats at the end of 2015.

Selwood has been limited to just 32 of a possible 72 games in that time.
