GEELONG captain Joel Selwood looks set to enter 2020 without a match under his belt after being left out of the squad for Monday’s final pre-season match-up with Essendon.
Mitch Duncan and Jake Kolodjashnij are also missing for the clash with the Bombers.
However, Jack Steven looks set to pull on the Hoops for the first time after being named in a 30-man squad for the clash at Colac’s Central Reserve.
The Cats have also named Brandan Parfitt, Sam Menegola, Jack Henry, Luke Dahlhaus, Mark O’Connor for their first hit-outs of 2020.
Lachie Henderson and Cam Guthrie have been managed out of the team that lost to Gold Coast on February 22.
State-of-Origin representatives Patrick Dangerfield, Mark Blicavs, Tom Hawkins and Zach Tuohy have all been named for the second meeting with Essendon in Colac in three years.
