Chloe Scheer will play her long-awaited 50th AFLW match when Geelong opens its 2026 season against North Melbourne at Marvel Stadium on Saturday.
The gun forward hasn’t played since the 2023 preliminary final after battling toe and knee issues.
The Cats will also welcome back Chantel Emonson after a season on the sidelines after giving birth to daughter Luna last year.
Former St Kilda, Collingwood and Carlton player Nicola Stevens will make her first appearance in the Hoops, as will draftees Evie Cowcher and Priya Bowering and Irish recruit Emma Murray.
Veteran Kate Surman is among the emergencies.
