Geelong is still working out the best way to deal with a knee issue troubling Gryan Miers.

The forward didn’t play against the Western Bulldogs, with some reports suggesting he has a partial tear to his anterior cruciate ligament.

He has been ruled out of Saturday night’s Anzac Day meeting with Port Adelaide.

“Following consultation with the club’s medical team and specialists, Gryan will be on an individualised program for the next couple of weeks as we assess the best path forward for the long term,” football boss Andrew Mackie said.

Meanwhile, key defender Jack Henry will be a test to determine whether he’s overcome an oblique strain.

Small forward Tyson Stengle remains on an individualised program.
