OP setback for Bews

March 31, 2019 1:15 pm in by

JED Bews has revealed he is battling osteitis pubis after experiencing groin soreness during the pre-season.

“It’s probably been about two months now since we recognised I had it,” Bews told K rock Football ahead of Saturday night’s win over Melbourne at GMHBA Stadium.

“We’ve kind of tried downloading me and slowly working me back up, but that hasn’t quite worked.

“So I had a little injection during the week, and then we’ll try again Monday and see how we go.”
