GEELONG has named a 30-man squad for Friday night’s JLT Series clash with West Coast at Leederville Oval in suburban Perth.
Draftees Jordan Clark and Darcy Fort, rookie Tom Atkins and off-season acquisitions Gary Rohan and Luke Dahlhaus have all made the trip to Perth.
2017 draftees Charlie Constable and Gryan Miers will also have a chance to impress.
Veteran Gary Ablett is one four emergencies, along with James Parsons, Jamaine Jones and Ryan Abbott, but hasn’t travelled.
Among the more experienced players not making the trip across the Nullarbor are Zach Tuohy (knee), Zac Smith (back), Nakia Cockatoo (adductor/hamstring), Scott Selwood and Jed Bews.
Some of the players not named were due to take part an intra-club match involving Geelong’s VFL squad on Thursday night.
K rock is live from 6:30pm on FM 95.5 across Geelong and the Surf Coast, and via AFL.com.au or the AFL app.
