GEELONG captain Joel Selwood remains in the frame to play in Sunday’s clash with North Melbourne at Marvel Stadium despite being named as an emergency.

However, the Cats says Selwood, who missed last week’s win over Essendon, will need to get through a fitness test at training on Saturday morning to be a part of the team to take on the Roos.

So far, Geelong has settled on one change, with defender Zach Tuohy, who was also a late withdrawal from the meeting with the Bombers, named in place of Zach Guthrie.

The Cats have also named Patrick Dangerfield and Esava Ratugolea, who both ended last week with injury concerns.

Dangerfield had an issue with his medial ligament, while Ratugolea was taken to hospital following a knock to the head.

Charlie Constable, Darcy Fort and James Parsons were also named as emergencies.

Meanwhile, North Melbourne will go into the match unchanged after putting away Carlton by 58 points last week.
